GARDENROOTS ACTIVISM
What is Gardenroots Activism?
Gardenroots Activism is the approach our sisterhood takes to growing the Republican Party and spreading conservative values. It is similar to Grassroots Activism in that it is fueled by concerned citizens at the ground level; however, Gardenroots Activism is much more organic. We believe those who do not agree with our beliefs will never do so without being welcomed, educated and treated as equals. Why is it called Gardenroots Activism? Because we are Proverbs 31 Women: nobody walks on us, and every seed we plant grows.
Key Traits of Gardenroots Activism
Treating Others with Dignity, Consideration & Respect
Gardenroots Activists believe that all of God's children should be treated as family. Even if we don't all agree, one can respect the thoughts and values of others without agreeing to them.
Committing Fully to Improving our Country and Community
Gardenroots Activists are fully committed to spending as much time, resources and conviction as possible on building a country, culture and community we are proud to leave our children.
Acknowledging 80% of Voters Agree on 80% of Issues
Gardenroots Activists understand that most Americans agree on most issues. Instead of engaging in strategically explosive, dysinformed fringe rhetoric, we choose to build bridges and bring bipartisan improvements to full fruition. America is the greatest country in the World. Every American should be afforded the best education, nutrition, medical care, housing, protection and upbringing possible.
Welcoming New Members to the Republican Party
Gardenroots Activists use social connectivity to avoid or lessen conflict. We warmly welcome all people of all ages to join the Republican Party. Organizing non-confrontational, friendly social events allows traditionally liberal voters the opportunity to form right-wing relationships and ask any questions they wish without judgement.
Helping Others in Need through Fellowship and Fun
Gardenroots Activists are Proverbs 31 problem solvers. We are committed to using our extensive network of knowledge, experience and resources to improve the lives of others.
Approaching Issues with a Family-First Perspective
Gardenroots Activists judge the importance of social and political issues by what is best for our children and communities. Instead of regarding them as typically "Republican" or "Democrat," we consider the impact and most effective outcome of proposed legislation.
Volunteering in a Beehive Fashion for the Greatest Impact
Gardenroots Activists work together in a “beehive” fashion to support local, state, and national candidates through direct voter contact typical of Grassroots efforts. We volunteer using teamwork and fellowship to reach our goals and will not rest until what we believe is best for our country, communities, and families has been achieved.
Rejecting Polarizing Rhetoric and Focusing on Reality
Gardenroots Activists deflect explosive issues politicized by members of the media and instead emphasize support, plans, and advances in bipartisan issues.
Using Biblical Scripture to Guide Action and Effort
Gardenroots Activists take guidance from the Lord and rely on Christian values to guide our activism. Some of these values include honesty, compassion for others, perseverance, humility, fairness, generosity and acts of kindness and service. We strive to do what is best for the country and closest to His image.
Shining a Light on Problems Ignored by Our Society
Gardenroots Activists act for the benefit of others. When we see social or political injustice, we use Proverbs 31 conviction to fix what is wrong.
Modeling Conservatism for Generations to Come
Gardenroots Activists are committed to modeling kindness, conservative values and the most effective political practices possible to restore and preserve American culture for our children and grandchildren.
Blocking Weeds with the Power of Positivity
Gardenroots Activists resist engaging in negativity. We indiscriminately include and invite others to join our social events and movement. When anger, prejudice, or hatred enter our hive, we heal it with the powers of fellowship, prayer and positivity. Gardenroots Activists make a habit of supporting and encouraging others, celebrating friends and bragging behind their backs.
